Greatest History Teacher Salute

Do you remember your favorite history teacher?
We've all had one: the teacher who made history in our own lives. The VHS has established this program to honor teachers by recognizing their contributions to education and the influence they have on their students. In addition to acknowledging and celebrating your favorite teacher, this tribute program will help to support educational endeavors such as our annual Teachers Institute and other VHS programs.

With your gift of $175 to the Greatest History Teachers Salute:

• You and your favorite teacher will receive special recognition in an upcoming issue of our newsletter, History Notes
• Your favorite teacher also will be recognized in a published advertorial in a trade magazine and on the VHS web site
• Your favorite teacher will receive a one-year membership to the VHS, along with a note crediting your gift and your submission of that teacher's name
